Join this tour to discover the secrets that the walls of the streets of Bogotá keep. This Capital Urban Art Tour will allow you to learn about the young artists and understand the meanings, colors, textures, images and symbols incorporated into a variety of beautiful pieces of internationally known street art. This tour is an alternative way to learn about the country's history, urban events and iconic characters while visiting some of the most representative places in the city.
You will start at El Chorro de Quevedo, where you can see some of the first urban art interventions in the La Candelaria neighborhood. You will walk through the historic center of the city, appreciating pieces by different artists in alleyways, colorful streets, facades of colonial houses, old buildings, squares, and walls.
This path will take you along Avenida El Dorado, one of the avenues of the city, exclusively destined to house the largest pieces of urban art in the city, a landmark that pleases locals and tourists alike. This route will show you the work of the best exponents of street art, who, supported by the mayor's office, are working on infrastructure projects that adorn huge walls, abandoned buildings and bridges.
Upon arrival at the Central Cemetery of Bogotá, you will continue walking, visiting the traditional sector of Teusaquillo, which houses various theaters, cultural and artistic spaces. Here, you will learn more about the experience of urban artists and community work. At the end of the day and after a tour full of learning you will return to your hotel.
